Guess what?

You don't need to be a professional baker.
You don’t need a fancy kitchen.
You don’t need a countertop covered in sourdough gadgets.
You don’t need to heat up your oven for 89 minutes.
And you definitely don’t need to wake up in the middle of the night to feed your starter.

I didn't intend to start a Sourdough Course

Hi, I’m Brittany. I started making sourdough for my family and donating loaves to our local schools, and people loved it. One sweet employee would "beg" me to sell my bread. I kindly told her I had a full-time job on Team Dirty and I didn’t want to hassle with selling bread with my limited time and tiny house, but I’d make loaves for her occasionally.

One day, she picked up a loaf I baked for here and she told me she had tasted sourdough from bakeries in Seattle and Portland, but nothing compared to my bread. She said I had a special knack and to please keep baking. I cried happy tears and knew I needed to share my sourdough process.

I sat my ass down that night and started dumping everything I knew into a course and partnered with Clean Food Dirty Girl so Dirties worldwide could learn to make sourdough like me without quitting their day job.

Now, I'm passing along some of the sourdough secrets I wish I knew when I got started.
